Jehane Benoit’s cuisine will be on the menu at the museum in 2012.

25 years after Jehane Benoit’s passing (born March 21st, 1904 in Montreal, died November 24th 1987 in Sutton), the Museum of Communications and History of Sutton will honour her life and her work with an exposition.

An entire generation knows this gourmet cook, author, and radio and television personality. She is best known as the author of “The Encyclopedia of Canadian Cooking” which sold over one and one half million copies.

If you knew Madame Benoit, and would like to participate in a video that is being prepared, please contact me. And if you have any memorabilia, such as autographed books, aprons, recipes, or photos, please let me know as these may be part of an exhibition that will take place at the museum from April to November 2012.
